The ninth front : an account of my battery of field artillery throughout the Meuse-Argonne offensive, October-November 1918, [not before 1939?].

Photocopied typescript, copied in 2010. "This is an account of the fighting and marching of a battery of 75 m/m field artillery, a unit of the 149th Field Artillery regiment of the 42nd American Division, known as the "Rainbow Division," from September 30th to the end of World War I on November 11, 1918. This was the ninth battle in which we had been engaged. ... The source of the material for this account is the official history of our Division; that of the War Memorial Commission; that of my regiment, and the diary which I kept from day to day and still preserve." Includes an account of the Spanish influenza outbreak.
